A Little Update From Me
Hello and welcome! If you’re visiting Elsilver for the first time — or returning after a little while — you might notice things are a bit quieter. That’s because I’ve stepped into an exciting new chapter as a full-time Registered Care Manager
It’s a role I’m genuinely excited about, and while I settle in and find my rhythm, Elsilver is taking a gentle pause. For now, I’m keeping things light — fewer workshops, limited commissions and less regular making — just until life finds its new balance.
What happens next will become clearer once I’m fully settled. I’ll review things down the line and see what shape Elsilver takes in the future. It might grow again, it might stay small, or it may evolve into something entirely different — and I’m leaving space for that to unfold naturally.
So think of this as “see you later” rather than goodbye. And thank you for being here — your support has meant more than you know.
about me
I'm Elsa and I run all things Elsilver! After attending evening silversmithing classes over 18 years ago, I quickly started to make jewellery in my West London flat on my dear old roll top desk. I made jewellery in the evenings and people started to want wear my creations. Things have come a long way since then, and now I'm living and working in the beautiful town of Lyme Regis.
In 2017 I completed my Metal Clay Diploma with Lisa Cain at the Mid Cornwall School of Jewellery. It was an eye opening experience for me and I realised I had fallen in love with this new way of creating jewellery! There are so many ways this amazing medium can be used and I want to share this with as many people as I can

After a few years break from making, due to health issues, I'm slowly working hard to come back and have developed new designs! During my break I managed to build a different side of my business curating unusual tools and supplies for makers which I still sell in my Etsy shop and in my Facebook group.

After moving out of my old studio space i initially had to stop delivering jewellery making workshops, but I’m now pleased to announce I have recently developed new more portable workshops in metal clay and other crafts that I can now deliver within Dorset, East Devon & some parts of Somerset. Check out my workshop page for more details.
I love a challenge, and if you have a design idea that you would like to discuss with me, maybe we can come up with something truly beautiful and original? Or maybe you'd like me to source a difficult to find supply? Just drop me a message via my contact page and I’ll get back to you within a few days and we'll see what we can come up with!
Keep checking my website for updates and check out my facebook pages for the latest updates and special offers.
