6 week beginners silver jewellery making workshop

This is a regular silver jewellery making workshop suitable for beginners, those who wish to improve their basic skills or those who simply wish to meet with like minded people and to work alongside them.

The workshop will take place each Thursday 10 - 12.30 over a 6 week period

Dates are:        8th June,     15th June,     22nd June,     29th June,     6th July,    13th July

Each week we will focus on a different basic skills such as piercing, soldering, simple stone setting, polishing and more which can be directed by the group.  For the rest of the time, individuals will be able to work on their chosen designs and projects with support and guidance given by Elsa

Tools and equipment will be provided as will copper sheet and wire, students will need to provide their own silver and stones for projects which can be purchased from a number of trusted suppliers. We encourage people to build their own simple kit or to bring along some along, ie files, sand papers and other consumables if they already have them.

Classes are really friendly and will be limited to 6 people , tea and coffee is provided.
